Sidhe Interactive is currently looking to fill multiple full time, on-site roles to work on exciting licensed and original projects for PS3, PS2, PSP, 360, Wii, and DS.

Senior Programmer (multiple vacancies)

Required experience profile

• University Computer Science degree or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years games industry experience including work on at least one published console title
• Experience working on at least one of PS3, PS2, PSP, 360, Wii, Gamecube, DS and GBA required
• Strong C++ programming and math skills
• Extensive experience in software engineering, and object oriented design and programming techniques
• Thorough understanding of the game production process
• Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience in developing AI, 3D graphics, 2D based engines, networking, and/or physics game systems beneficial
• Team management experience desirable but not required
• Ability to guide, mentor and train junior programmers to meet the needs of the organisation highly desirable

Programmer (multiple vacancies)

• University Computer Science degree or equivalent
• Strong C++ programming and math skills
• Understanding of object oriented design and programming techniques
• Comfortable working in a managed team environment
• Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Good communication skills
• Professional game development experience desirable but not required
• Experience working on at least one of PS3, PS2, PSP, 360, Wii, Gamecube, DS and GBA desirable
• Knowledge of AI, 3D graphics, 2D graphics, sound, or physics principles beneficial
• Experience in large, team based software projects preferred
• Ability to guide, mentor and train junior programmers to meet the needs of the organisation highly desirable
